Tyler’s love for entertainment and acting began at an early age. Performing in many school and civic theatre productions, Tyler always knew that acting was his passion.
Tyler got his first taste of a true large-scale production in 2004 when he worked on “The War That Made America” in Pittsburgh. In this French and Indian war documentary, Tyler portrayed a brave British soldier who valiantly slew hoards of invaders before dying a heroic death (ok maybe not quite hoards…) .
In early 2005 Tyler made the move to Los Angeles, and has since been in over 5 main stage theatrical productions at Citrus College, including roles in “Dark of the Moon”, “subUrbia”, “Joined at the Head” and “Anon(ymous)”. Tyler was nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for his performances in both “subUrbia” and “Joined at the Head”. (Video of both of these shows is available in the Video section!)
Tyler continues to reside in the Los Angeles area, and is pursuing his Bachelors in Theatre Arts, as well as auditioning out in Hollywood when the opportunities present themselves.
